Pakistan & Terrorism

This long-drawn battle against terrorism must now be brought to its logical conclusion. Pakistan's admission that terror attacks on Mumbai were partly plotted from Pakistan soil, has cleared the way for US intervention in Terrorist occupied Pakistan (ToP). Right from the bginning, Pakistan has maintained its official stand that Pakistan is a victim of terrorism. This stand has been endorsed by events like Benazir Bhutto's assassination or hotel Marriot bomb-blasts etc. Then why doesn't Pakistan take a decisive action against terrorism on its soil ? The answer is simple - this action is not cost effective. Economically backward Pakistan does not have enough resources to carry out wide spread combing operations in Terrorist affected areas of Pakistan. At this point, America can offer a helping hand. US fighter planes can go on bombing Taliban & Al-Queida hideouts within Pakistan till final traces of terrorism are completely wiped out ...!!!
