Ahmedabad Blasts

Investigating agencies claim to have cracked the Ahmedabad blasts case. The recent findings in this case are going to put moderate muslims in a fix. Large number of SIMI activists have been arrested. Some of the accused activists were holding key-positions in SIMI. That means SIMI cannot use the arguments used by सनातन प्रभात संस्था regarding explosions at Vishnudas Bhave theatre, Vashi. सनातन प्रभात had said that it does NOT preach violence & none of its organisers were ever involved in planning & implementing the explosions.
Muslim community will have to work hard to alienate itself from SIMI & its violent activities. Congress party also has to explain a lot on the issue. Imposing a long term ban on SIMI is the minimum requirement. Today's SIMI is quite different from what it was upto 2006. The motive behind these mindless blasts can be found from the arrested activists. The reaction of Indian muslims to all this will throw some light on general mindset of muslim community. Unless Indian muslims heavily condemn SIMI, they will have to bear the responsibility for initiating the disturbance.
